The 3 buildings with 50 social flats came into existence at the beginning of the 20th century. From the very beginning destined for the poorest people of the city. And since than the conditions haven’t changed much. Until 2017, when local authorities decided to revitalize the place, there were luck of gas, hot water or toilets. Instead of playground sticky mud and pile of rubbish in front of the buildings. Among inhabitants there are different people with their own stories. A former champion in boxing, watch collector on wheelchair, a constructor of interesting structures. Some were born here, some were resettled from other places after various life turbulences. Former prisoners after serving their sentences, men after divorces, unemployed without means to live. There are those who destroy, steal, especially young after alcohol consumption. And still there are those who want a normal life, who care about their dogs, little gardens in front of the house. The project "Abyssinia" is about them - the portrait of the community.
